Our song requests show involves many members of the Dutch Language Café community. One non native Dutch speaker and one native Dutch speakers host the show together. It is quite a challenge for Dutch learners to become comfortable in public speaking and they have to get out of their comfort zone in order to do so. It is exactly in those difficult moments that the will to communicate pushes the learning to new levels.
For Dutch natives it is rewarding to encourage learners sharing aspects of Dutch culture, with songs, expressions in Dutch, quizzes and trivia.
